I froze a rose and then dripped some water on it and froze that. Im pleased with how it turned out.
This is the rose after ~24 hours in the freezer.

I took the picture on the kitchen counter, in case you're wondering. I love the pattern and think its a nice background.

Very nice. I like how the rose goes from in focus at the flower itself and then as you get further away it gets fuzzy.

You're right, the counter top does make a nice background.

That was unintentional, but you are right, it is a nice effect. Sort of draws your eye to the subject.

Its strange. But when I look at the picture my hands get really cold. And I keep expecting the ice to melt away and the rose to thaw.
